Most people don-t realize this, the irrigation system is one of the most important $$ spending appliance systems in a home. Probably only second to the A/C unit. Think about it. The system will be cycling 1-3 times per week for about 40 weeks per year! An un-efficient system on a large yard can cost you thousands of dollars in wasted water per year! When a high efficiently water wise system like we specialize in and install may cost more upfront, the savings on your water bill will recoup the extra costs rapidly, usually within 1-2 years!!

At Orsek Environmental, We are serious about our water. Since 2004 we have been specializing in and designing/installing, high efficiency, Water Wise Irrigation Systems.

Irrigation systems are only as good as #1 the design #2 the product # 3 the workmanship

#1 The Design.

Our key management staff personally:

Performs a full site evaluation on every job.
Talks with the owner about any of their concerns and answers questions.
Plans out the best way to get the job done.
Is highly trained and knowledgeable about any conditions that may arise.
Will provide a 'as-built" design, Along with our written warranty, all system component manuals, a current backflow test, and all necessary paperwork and requirements to be sure you are in compliance with current State laws.

#2 The Product.

We 100% install professional grade Irrigation products.
We are a Hunter Preferred Contractor 5 years.
All systems we install are water wise systems.
We warranty our systems for 2 years from the date of install 100% materials and workmanship.
If you are interested in a cheap in-efficient system you will need to look for an estimate from another contractor. We only install professional quality that performs year after year with no problems.

#3 Workmanship.

Our key staff personally supervises every install start to finish.
We train our crews to do a good job and to do it correctly. Shortcuts are a bad word in our company policy.
We do not make profit doing warranty repairs so instead of "hurrying thru" an install, We take the time to check, check, and test and check again.
To date in 2008, over 1500 heads installed and 8 miles of pipe. With no workmanship warranty issues or callbacks.

On every job we design/install we use:
  • Drive around your neighborhood and look at the grass. Notice how uneven the color is? Some areas are greener and some areas are less? I bet you never noticed it before. Every now and then you will pass a home where the grass is all the same color. That is achieved by 2 things MATCHED PRECIPATION and HYDRO-ZONING.

This is all part of the DESGIN of the system.

Matched precipitation means simply this. All the heads are putting out the same amount of water for the surface area they are covering. Example: A 1/4 circle spraying 20 ft is putting out 1 gallon per minute and the 1/2 circle spraying 20 ft is 2 gallon per minute A 3/4 circle is 3 gallon per min and a full circle is 4 gallon per minute... Make sense?? Pretty simple huh? So why not DESGIN and install for this?? ( it's faster and cheaper to disregard this and use the: "it's all getting wet"... theory)

Hydro-zoning is simple too. Ever hear "birds of a feather flock together"? How about this one, Put 3 heads out in the full sun and 3 heads in the heavy shade on the same zone? Or even better, 4 heads in the turf and 3 heads in the flower beds on the same zone?
Simply put, you 'group' your zones to different water requirements of your yard. It costs more money to do this (more zones, more labor, more parts, more time spent DESGINING) so a lot of contractors pass this step by. Their not paying for your water bill anyways.

  • RAIN SENSOR
(Senses rain and shuts down the system)
Just drive around when it's raining and see the yards that have irrigation running.. Why waste all that water?

  • Swing-Joints
These are a really cool gadget.. Imagine a 1 foot long fully flexible black pipe that connects your sprinkler head to the PVC pipe. Then imagine every time your mower runs over the head it flexing down without harming the PVC. Flexibility in the system at the surface works.

Benefits of an automatic irrigation system:
  • Saves you time.
  • Applies the right amount of water to the plant material keeping your yard looking good and saving you money.
  • Saves you time.
  • Increases your homes value.
  • Saves you time.
  • Helps protect your homes foundation.
Yes, I said," Helps protect your homes foundation." How?
By keeping the soils around your home in a consistent state, (moist) it helps keep the soils more stable. Remember grandma "watering her slab?"
  • Did I mention how much time and money you will save?

When it comes to Irrigation systems, if you are looking for the "low ball" contractor to do you a cheap and quick job, Sorry we will not be the one.
If you are looking for a contractor that takes pride in his work and wants to install a top of the line system that will perform and last, We would be happy to talk with you.

Contact us and will be happy to give you a free estimate on a system that you will be proud of and will save you time and money.

Our sprinkler systems can be financed through our John Deere Credit program Check it out off of the link on our homepage named financing.

Remember that our water is our most precious resource and must be used diligently. Without it the entire world will die away. With the population growth, our potable water sources are dwindling down and every little bit helps.
